Full throttle surf punk mayhem from The Goons of Doom and The Good Kids.
While each of the stops on this year’s Tracks Party Tour powered by YETI has been a spectacle, I think it’s fair to say we saved the best one till last.
The final stop on the tour saw surf punk lords The Goons of Dooms and genre-bending act DJ Eddy, supported by Northern beaches band The Good Kids, take to the stage at the Harbord Hotel in Sydney.
The Good Kids performance was one for the books, as they caused chaos with their punk rock sing-a-long favourite’s, matching the crowds extremely hyped energy with every note, stage dive and at one point lead singer Mark turned into Spiderman and started scaling the ceiling. They even brought recent CS Sydney Surf Pro winner Jordy Lawler on stage who jumped on the guitar and performed the bands popular hit ‘Lean In’ with them.

Matching the energy of The Good Kids’ set was difficult, but The Goons did what they usually do and helped continue on the carnage throughout the night. Both bands’ reckless and full throttle attitudes complimented each other well.
DJ Eddy, a stalwart of Tracks Parties in previous years, sent everyone dancing throughout the night while also hosting a number of giveaways from our major partner Yeti and our other supporting sponsors of the night; Dragon Eyewear, O‘Neill, Curly Lewis and the Harbord Hotel.
